Obama Lied About Bill Ayers

Obama Lied About Bill Ayers

Watch and hear CNN and Fox News report on Barack Obama’s deception regarding his relationship with Bill Ayers. It is clear, straightforward, credible reporting. To anyone with an ounce of objectivity this is one more unequivocal reminder of why Barack Obama worked so hard to keep the truth of who he really is from us. Yes, character matters.

Rashid Khalidi

Rashid Khalidi

Rashid Khalidi - RadicalOne of the most remarkable things that distinguishes Election 2008 from all other presidential elections is the media’s blatant attempts to hide the real Barack Obama from us.

It is an unassailable fact that if a Republican presidential candidate had even a single past association with a radical anti-American activist, he or she would not have had the slightest chance of becoming the Republican nominee. First, the Republican Party would not have allowed it and, second, the media would have launched a relentless campaign to destroy him or her, politically.

Yet, not only has the Democratic Party nominated a man who for over twenty years has almost exclusively surrounded himself with extreme anti-American, radical activists, the American media are as determined to hide this truth from us as they would have been determined to reveal such associations if the candidate were a Republican. It is as though we are living in a fascist country.

Unless he has something to hide, Barack Obama should not keep the facts from us or lie about them, yet he continues to do both. You and all of us should demand full disclosure. Facts are not personal attacks.

Rashid Khalidi is just one more of many close associations he does not want you to know about:

Allegations of PLO connections

Khalidi has been accused of having ties to the Palestinian Liberation Organization, based on his work for Wafa in the late 1980s. Khalidi has been accused of being “a director of the Palestinian press agency,” publishing an “adulatory book” on the PLO in which he personally thanked Yasser Arafat, and acting as an advisor to the Palestinian delegation during peace negotiations. Khalidi denied the allegation that he served as a PLO spokesman. Khalidi explained that he often spoke to journalists in Beirut, and was usually cited, without attribution, as a well-informed Palestinian source. He also said that he was unaware of any misidentification as a PLO spokesman.

The claim received renewed attention in 2008 when it was raised due to a reported friendship between Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama and Khalidi’s family when Khalidi taught at the University of Chicago. Articles by Aaron Klein and John Bachelor, writers respectively for conservative outlets World Net Daily and Human Events, were referenced by rival political campaigns and reprinted in wider-circulation media.
